In partnership with Fire and Root Co, Beauty and Strength teaches young women empowerment self-defense courses, which in turn will promote safety and inspire confidence in a demographic at high risk for assault.

A Part of the SCLA Program

The Silver Creek Leadership Academy

Beauty and Strength is on of many capstone projects that make up the SCLA program. Students who complete four years in the program create one of these projects to make a difference in their community, reflecting the "Big 6" traits that SCLA abides by: Respect, Communication, Teamwork, Vision, Critical and Creative Thinking, and Ethics.
